For me leather strap on a dive watch comes down to whether its vintage or vintage inspired.
I often wear my BB58 on leather as I think it suits the design, and will change it for a NATO or rubber strap if going to be using it as a tool watch!
So I don't think is a general rule but more a case of the specific watch and strap having to match, which is mostly personal preference! 😎
Honestly my choice would depend on what else you have in your collection, and the purpose of the watch within that context.
Given the high price point, I'd probably choose the blue for versatility. However, if it was a piece to be worn part of a larger rotation then the yellow really pops!
Looking forward to seeing what you decide! 😎
I've been having similar thoughts about my gilt BB58, was considering selling it due to some overlap with other pieces but glad I didn't due to its versatility and sentimental value.
How do you find the ranger bracelet? I bought mine on the leather strap so have been considering the ranger bracelet to change it up a bit!
