The hunt concludes!

I decided to add a blue sports / GADA steel watch to the collection and to make to make it fun I decided operating under some strict requirements:

  1. A clean blue dial (non-busy)

  2. Intended to stay on OEM bracelet

  3. Comfortable to wear and <= 48mm lug to lug

  4. As thin as possible with a WR rating of 100m or more

  5. Has an attribute that is unique to the manufacturer

  6. Less than $1.5k

I was slowly moving away from micros as they wouldn’t remain in my collection due to some flaw or lack of finishing that bothered me. So after looking at a bunch of pre-owned Tudors, Nomos, Sinn, Longines and more I finally ended up with the Traska Summiteer and could not be more happy!

It met every criteria I had with the main highlights being the bracelet with quick adjust which is phenomenal, the hardness coating on case and bracelet which makes it a worry free wear and great dimensions making for a comfortable wearing experience. The finishing is outstanding as well.

If anyone is looking for a no nonsense watch that can easily compete with (and even outperform) the larger brands this watch is a great choice.

10/10 Traska!
