What do you think about Tag Heuer in 2024?

Would you get a Tag watch? In the last 18 months I have kept an eye on Tag and even tried on a few. The models like the "glassbox" and "aquaracer" seem to look really appealing, am keen to hear what many think.

Improving. Still lack something tho. The Aqua racer looks like a poor SMP homage and I'm not into chronograph's - really don't like the glass box, crystal looks way too vulnerable to me.

·

I had the pleasure trying on the glassbox skipper (blue dial, green/orange sub dials) and I love it! It wears like a dream. It is on my todo list 😌

Agree, the Aquaracer does seem like a smp copy. Also the glassbox was a little small on my 19cm wrists but it kinda looks pretty 😍

Yes it's pretty, I'd just be worried about whacking that vulnerable sapphire on everything! 🙄I'm very clumsy..

#tagheuer is back on the up and up in my opinion! I have always like Tag and it’s unfortunate how they’ve been perceived in the watch world in the past 2 decades but I really think some of their new releases have shown what they got in the hopper and it looks promising in my opinion.

·

To me it's always been my dream watch brand, first watch that I listed over was a Monaco, then I noticed the Carrera and then the F1, and then the others. To me they are all great looking, definitely a few duds but most are watches I would lust after. Not sure if it is my age and little things like the tag Heuer shop at gretna shopping village but they were probably the most noticeable luxury brand for me growing up. I think the current tags are definitely much better looking than the 90's 00's ones but then that is just my opinion. The Carrera skipping is just 🔥🤩😍🔥

I love the Monaco!

The first watch that I thought wow I would love one of them one day. Little out of my price range though.

·

The glass box is a classic and they knocked it out of the park on those. Also some of the aquaracers actually look appealing!

·

I think Tag has a lot of interesting models, a quartz aquaracer was my first ‘proper’ watch a number of years ago and it’s still going strong!

The recent releases with the glass box carrera’s and the new aquaracers are very compelling. Good to see quality improving with chronometer certification etc.

·

Yes…the Glassbox in blue or the skipper

·

I’m loving the new glass box! Got to try it on a couple days ago.

Did you find the 39mm a little small? I have 7.5 inch or 19cm wrists and I found it a bit small, but could be me not use to this type of watch as I usually wear divers:)

Carrera YES

Aquaracer NO

I legit have the exact same size wrist and didn’t find it too small. I wouldn’t want it any smaller though.

·

I really like the Glassbox model range, I think they’re spot on!

·

I have both the skipper and reverse panda. Great watches

·

I love the glass box. Big vintage vibes. Great size. I catch myself making unconscious watch protection movement even when I’m not wearing one so I wouldnt be too worried about the crystal.

·

They are improving slightly in last few years but the Monaco is still the only watch from Tag I would consider buying. Glasbox is also cool but owning the Speedy it makes 0 sense buying it too

I think you are right Monaca is the "daddy" and is so iconic to Tag!

I bought the reverse panda Glassbox when it was first released last spring. It quickly became one of my favorite watches. I have a 20.5cm (8”) wrist and it fits perfectly. When a watch wears as comfortably as it does, you tend to forget it’s on. So I’ve hit it on hard surfaces and no problems with the crystal at all. Because it is without a bezel, it has a lot of wrist presence for a 39mm watch.

Improving and love the Glassbox , Skipper and Porsche Chronosprint

Trending in the right direction. Tried on a few at the AD. The blue on the Monaco and the glassbox is lovely. Nothing that’s quite stolen my heart just yet though.

The Monaco is special and I love looking at it:)

·

I'm silly enough to still dislike the TAG part of the logo enough to dissuade me from buying.

I think I also have a similar mental block, which is one of the reasons of holding me back on getting a TAG.... if only they would make a watch just with the "Heuer" logo 😀

·

I really enjoy my Carrera Date in green. Quite stunning on the wrist.
