Your Favorite Omega Speedmaster

There are many sub-collections of Omega Speedmaster line. Which is your favorite? I plan to add an Omega to my list, although the purchase won't happen at least until next year. As these watches are quite expensive, I don't do impulse buying. Instead, I do research and then pick the model I like and add it to the list of watches for future purchase. I made a post yesterday about the Seamaster collection. Today, I want to poll about the Speedmaster collection, as there are models from both lines that I like which may be considered. There are 4 Speedmaster models I found appealing. A) Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional - This watch is iconic, as it is the only watch that has ever gone to the Moon! It is driven by an Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber, but 42mm is a bit large for my wrist. B) Speedmaster 38 - The 38mm case may look better on the wrist considering the size. But the movement inside it is a standard Omega caliber, not a Master Chronometer caliber. C) Speedmaster '57 - The 40.5mm of this watch hits the sweet spot! The design is inspired by the 1957 original, and I really like the brushed bezel, the two sub-dials (instead of three), and the broad arrow hands. Inside it is an Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber. D) Speedmaster Calibre 321 - The 39.70mm case size also hits the sweet spot! What makes this model unique is the Calibre 321 inside it. Omega somehow reintroduced this caliber, and it is the same caliber that was worn on the Moon. The vintage Omega logo on the dial gives this watch a classic look. If you own any of these models, would you please share your wearing experience and the pros and cons you found of your watch?

Thanks for the reply. Understood and no surprise, as the Moonwatch is the most popular one among all the Speedmaster models.

Of those the 321

My pick will be a mk11, tonneau cased auto, I just like the style. If budget wasn't a concern I'd get an X33 too 🤣🚀

I have the hesalite Moonwatch version and it is grrat but best one for me would be 321, would trade in a heart beat. Can't get one in my country and price is quite steep on secondary

I respect the Pro, but I'm a '57 guy. I love the Broad Arrow and it's not as busy of a dial. So, seriously, if you're not using it as the tool it was designed to be, what's the point of it all?

My next Speedmaster will be the tribute to the original '57. In steel, a 40.5mm case size with the black dial. A retro, very cool classic.

MK11 is very unique, and X33 is very interesting too, tracking Mar's time! 😎

It is more expensive than most other Speedmaster models. The official retail price is C$20,900 in Canada, and it also looks like it is hard to get one here too.

The '57 is very beautify. I think I would get either the black or the green dial. I visited an AD a few weeks ago, but they did not have either version in stock, only had the red one. I tried it on and it looked so stunning. Imagine if it is the black or the green one!

Congrats! Cool birthdate.

I vividly remember where I was when this happened. A very grainy old black & white TV had all of us spellbound. At the time, it just seemed it couldn't be real. Almost 55 years ago...crazy!
