Green Dial Watch Suggestions <$1000?

I'm graduating from grad school soon and am interested in a green dial watch because my school colors are green (and kind of gold)

Any suggestions for a great green dial watch with a textured dial in the sports, gada, or dress categories? Microbrand options especially appreciated!

Currently heavily leaning towards:

-Citizen Zenshin Small Seconds

-Erebus Ascent Green Helix

-Seiko Alpinist (I like the alternating even numbers over the GMT)

Green enough for you 😂

Citizen Zenshin is the best IMO.

I agree! A little unsure why it isn't on their US site, wondering if Green was only officially released out of US

Can't argue with that

Has to be an Alpinist for that brief. Classy. Dressy. Adventurous. Do anything.

I would go for Citizen NJ0180!!

Nice textured dial and titanium integranted bracelet.

Great value for the price!

Looks great! I like the date window here, wish the zenshin had a colored or black date window

Tsuyosa are way better in person than in photos

The Tissot PRX with the green waffle dial is worth a mention. I have one and the green is very dark so goes a little under the radar. Which is good or bad depending on what you’re after!

I never wanted a green dial watch until I saw the baby Alpinist in the flesh - it’s now my next watch.

A beauty!

Afraid green dials have been a weakness!

The Seiko presage looks great though it’s on the dressier side and I wouldn’t consider GADA. I would also say the citizen small seconds is the best option but I feel like the green in the citizen is not the right green.

I have the citizen garrison green dial and it’s perfect GADA for me because I can beat it up and never worry.

The Tissot gentlemen is also a great option expect I would feel bad beating that watch up.

Is the dial textured on the alpinist? I've only seen it in person once and really loved it, but I couldn't tell

It has a slight grainy texture to it with the sunburst.

Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80. The green dial is stunning in person and jomashop has them for $574 where they retail in stores for closer to $800

Christopher Ward has a nice green ombre dial. $995 on bracelet with quick release spring bars and on fly clasp.

Baby alpinist?

Any advantage to baby vs regular alpinist in your opinion? Both look great to me but haven't seen baby in person

Second this. On a black strap it looks nicely dressy and on a brown strap just stunning. Shame they only do the green in 39mm. If they had the 36mm in green I'd be all over that like a dog with hot chips.
