British Watchmakers Day 2025 🇬🇧
Hey Ho Diddly Doh Crunchers!!!
What a day it has been at British Watchmakers Day today!!! Apologies about the later than usual posting, but today has been non stop… and the connection on this train is crap!! 🤣🤣
I won’t make this post too long as I’d like to spend some time making a decent write up in my usual style for you all to enjoy, so expect that tomorrow or the day after!!!
Firstly, I’d like to thank @bixtix, John and Gareth (I forgot your watchcrunch name sorry Gareth!! 😬) for being amazing people for me to spend the day with! Honestly one of the best days out I’ve had so thank you for all the laughs… and opinions on watches! 🤪
So I was pretty easy to spot when entering the venue… as I was immediately found at Farer 🤣(definitely has nothing to do with my current obsession with them!!! 🤪). The experience I have had with Farer and their team has immediately placed this brand as one of my absolute favourites. Big thanks to Mike there who is one of the dial designers at Farer who showed us some of his amazing work. He must have some crazy good patience too as I was going back and forth between sizing for the Resolute ii!!! I can now safely say that I have gone for the 36mm model, as Mike made some excellent points:
The 36 on a strap makes it look like a modern play on vintage case sizing
On the bracelet it gives off a very similar sizing found in the Christopher Ward C63 Sealander 36!!
The Farer should be arriving some point next week! 🤪
The other thing I’d like to cover in todays post is giving Crunchers who weren’t able to make it to today a chance to see some watches of their choosing! I am happy to announce that I have got everyone covered who made requests!!!!

I wasn’t too sure which version you wanted to see mate, so here’s ALL OF THEM!!! My favourite is the green dial Bronze to get that stunning aged look!! Sizing and quality was incredibly good and the lume was stellar to look at!!!

So there was only 4 specials left when I got round to them but I was very cool to see!! Person think last years special was cooler with the British flag engraved in the dial… but there was only 1 of them 🤪

This is the upon request model that we have been discussing mate!!! I think this does look pretty cool and gives off a rugged military vibe for sure!!! I do like your grey one more though 😉

I tried on the Clemence Munro with the tri peaks dial and it’s utterly stunning!!! May grab it for my birthday in May. Saw the white one too and it’s a fully lumed dial!!!
Yeah it does look good but I think yours is just miles better in terms of aesthetics!!!
