I know this question has been asked many times across various forums, but would love what watch crunchers choose as their one and only watch.
No need to elaborate with your choice.

Mido ocean star 200 black face

If it would magically never need to be serviced, any AL&S, especially Zeitwerk.
Lange Odysseus
Longines conquest 34 mm
I chose this
5326g, still.
The #1 thing I don't like about that watch are the hands. They look weird to me. What do you think? (Obviously you don't mind them considering this is your grail but I want to hear some opinions about them. ๐)
I love the open sword hands. Obviously taste is subjective, but they really just tickle my fancy. The lume is pretty good on them too!
Citizen Promaster Tough - radio controlled ๐ช๐
As a watch collector for over a decade, I've observed significant changes in both the watch collecting community and the industry. Discussions about preferred watch brands and models are common on watch forums, and certain timepieces used to consistently garner consensus, such as the Rolex Submariner and Daytona, the Omega Speedmaster, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, the Patek Philippe Nautilus and Calatrava, AP Royal Oak. However, I'm really surprised at how quickly opinions and preferences have diversified, reflecting a broader range of tastes and interests.
I'm gonna have to go with the Granf Seiko Tentagraph ๐

Absolutely. This is my favorite and my grail also. This and a cache of straps, this would be my one and only.
This one. My grail. I have it. #shunbun

The Kikuchi Nakagawa "Murakumo" white dial with the stunning spade hour hand.
The waitlist for it is obscenely long, but if I could snag just one watch, this would be it.
Rolex...but torn between the Explorer II and the Sub. I spose I'd go Submariner, but it'd be a tough decision.

Anyway, my only one watch if ever
NAVITIMER B01 CHRONOGRAPH 43
Great choice but I would go with 46mm with the simple B logo in house BO1 movement if I could mix and match favourite Breitling watches.
My brilliant dadโs simple steel Rolex OP, circa late 50s -60s manual date change in the exact condition the watch came through Canada Customs in 1961, I would also like to be my 10 year old self to receive the watch.
