I have a few watches that were my dad's. There are some that are growing on me, one that i don't think i will wear even though it is the most wanted. One i probably never find parts for unless i find a working watch, and switch them around. And all of them give me a feeling like i have an obligation to fix or at least keep, just because they were me dads. I for now got a watch box, and gonna keep them just because. Don't know just what to do except don't get rid of them.
I know it would not be an original Seiko. So if you were interested, i saw an interesting home made 62 mas. Go to a web site,"tokiemedic" In the magnifying glass type the word, "vintage." The first watch listed is the one i am speaking of. A 62 mas style with a 1965 Seiko 5 dial. It wasn't trying to be a fake but a watch the same style with an antique dial. It called to me, and i have a watch with that dial and all the parts were super cheep. Let me know what you think, other than why not have an original.
