A 12 year old's dream come true
The Casio G-Shock, for me, has a deep-rooted nostalgia associated with it. When I was around 12, I attended a school where many of my friends had parents working abroad. Those kids had these awesome, tough-looking digital watches which I adored. I wasn't a kid who asked his parents for anything. While I had a decent-looking classic watch from a local manufacturer in the late 90s, my heart pined for a digital watch similar to the ones my friends had.
Some time later, I figured that these were Casio G-Shocks. For years I forgot about this dream to own one. Years later, I was able to get one for myself. Every time I wear this, I look back at my time with gratitude. Thanks Casio!

Totally agree! This one stays on the wrist sometimes for days without coming off. Feels unfair to the other watches 😄
