Following the lead of @burntleaves, this is my first #wabisabiwednesday post.
I tried to plasm some characteristics of the #wabisabi: the beauty of the imperfections, the passage of time, and the beauty of simple things.
This is my grand-grandfather's pocket watch (and he wasn't the first user). It fell, and the dial and the crystal were broken, and the hands and the main cannon were lost. The crystal was replaced, new hands were set, and the main cannon was rebuilt from zero. It has its marks, but it has been ticking and working since 1865.
And these are other compositions I discarded:
I’m trying to enjoy some of my hobbies - photography and watches - and be a good father. I don’t know if I'm doing it well, but I'm not that useless; at least I can act as a bad example.

Well, I lied a bit. Because most of the time it's stored totally unwound. But it works; I keep it serviced and alive. I was wearing it on a wedding a few weeks ago:

Thank you!!! I’m yet to truly understand the meaning of Wabi-Sabi. But I really like the concept and what seems to mean. I’ll work on that.
