Yeah mad numbers - but the real killer was the thickness. The most recent Tissot PR516 Chronograph reissue shows you can use a manual wind and it's just as effective and thinner!
The reissue is faithful enough - I do wish they had squished everything down a bit more and not used a sandwich dial. I was hoping they would do it with a correct size steel bracelet so I could pop it on my vintage! No such luck 🎲
I got excited when they started releasing different colours as it meant they were taking the reissue stuff seriously. I would have hoped they chose some colours from the archive - but it's close enough
