I went through the same path.. from all divers collection to just one or two now with everything else thin and light and bezelless. I never liked chronographs, still chrono hand drove me nuts. I never wore my speedy when I had it. 6 or 7 years passes and I got speedy in a trade recently. Thought it would be a quick flip but guess what, I actually enjoy wearing it now and I'm looking to add some other chronos. 😄

That depends on your preference I guess. I had it other way around. I hated almost all modern rolexes I had or tired. I dislike the weight and I absolutely hate ceramic. Once I tried 5 digit sub I knew it was the watch for me. Slim and sleek, bracelet was so light and comfortable even if it would happily rattle on my wrist. It just felt more alive and I felt more connected to the watch.
