I want to see the fans pull out their valid credit cards and pay for this one. Genta designed a lot of ugly watches, even the Royal Oak took off like a lead balloon until AP was safed with the big watch and mix materials trend years after the original RO was launched!
It looks two screws short of a Royal Oak.
There is so much money to be made selling super expensive, super ugly watches that Seiko didn’t want to be left out.
If they put Seiko on the dial, it would be an ugly dog and flop. If they put Credor on the dial and 10x the price, it’s an instant hit.
Not a fan either. What are those white streaks on the dial? Is that the sunburst effect?
This isn’t even irony. This is audacity.
