NODUS x WatchCrunch 'Flyboy'

First thing I did was to remove all the plastic stickies, then pulled out everything from the box: There was a Thank you card for  supporting Arbor Day Foundation. Overleaf, was the wearing instructions for the Anachronist Zero Pass Strap. Then there was the Warranty card with the in-house Regulation report and then there was the QR code for the Instruction manual. A microfibre cloth was also included for you to polish anything that needed polishing?

The watch came in a SS five link bracelet with the Proprietary NodeX™ clasp. Included was an additional Anachronist Zero Pass Strap in Dark brown leather making this Special Edition a Special WatchCrunch Edition. Making it an even more WC special was the Wristy badge etched on the casebook with my number 65 of 99 limited edition pieces inside.

I wanted to see how the Zero Pass Strap looked with the watch so I removed the bracelet which was easily done with the  quick release spring bars at the solid end links. I thought while I have the strap on, I could do a quick size adjustment on the bracelet but I couldn’t loosen any of the screw links! I tried so many times until I told myself to stop and do it another time when I’m less flustered - I was on the brink of screwing up the screws! Guess It’ll just have to be Anachronist Zero Pass for awhile first. 

The NODUS x WatchCrunch ‘Fly Boy’ on the Zero Pass Leather Strap is very, very comfortable. I’m sure it’s because of the 11.7mm case profile. The Dial has a recessed layer for the hour hand, huge day date windows at 6 and a lovely yellow tipped seconds hand. The Bezel is fully BGW9 lumed and is in the unmistakable WatchCrunch Green. Come to think of it, maybe the tips of the seconds hand could have matched the Bezel in WC green, but its not a biggie. In any case, the NODUS x WC FlyBoy looks and feels fantastic and I’m so proud of it.
