Happy Humpday Crunchers. Watchdives WD1980 Wednesday (CWC Diver homage). On a Bond-like black/grey/tan two piece NATO inspired by @Bayl61's top notch combos.
Is #divewatchwednesday a thing? I'm down with that.
=====
Homage of the CWC (RN) Royal Navy Diver watch originally created for the British Ministry of Defence in the 1980s.The Ministry of Defence was looking for a more cost-effective replacement for the Rolex Submariner and turned to CWC who introduced the Royal Navy (RN) Diver, inspired by the Omega Seamaster 300. This model featured a Swiss automatic movement until 1983, when it switched to quartz. The watches were worn by Royal Navy clearance divers, ships’ divers, and the Special Boat Service (SBS), with some models seeing action in the Falklands War of 1982.

Thanks for the nod, Han!
I bet that WD sits better on the wrist now?
I just find NATO straps a little bulky/awkward
Anyway it looks great bud, good colour combo 👏🏻😉

Cheers, Andy! On this WD with the short lug to lug, regular NATOs are too thin I find. It makes this model look too small.
The two piece NATO is thicker which is perfect to balance out the look.
I'll still make use of my regular NATOs, but given the option going forward, I'll pick a two piece.
Great combo Han! @Bayl61 ‘s a Top Geezer!
