Uncle Seiko kills it with Omega, too

Big props to Uncle Seiko! I was surprised enough to find that Uncle Straps (or anyone) made a custom-fitted bracelet for the 70s Seamaster Chronographs but super impressed with the quality. It's in every way an improvement over the original Omega bracelet—most notably the solid end links that actually fit the case in a way the floppy, hollow originals never did, making whole watch feel more substantial and balanced on the wrist.

Basically, anyone who owns this watch needs to get this bracelet.

Looks awesome, works really well. A colleague of mine has this watch and whenever they wear it I always stare.

Agree! My late Dad's for timing his training and running the Comrades 55 mile Ultra Marathon a few times. Until Casio revolutionized the digital timer about 7 years later when it was retired to his dresser drawer. The original screw link bracelet is in good shape including the end links. But unfortunately it's about 2 links short for me. Larry saved the day. Push button milled clasps nowadays are all the rage but the original stamped friction clasp like Uncle Seiko's has stood the test time. Love it when I meet someone who's been wearing their Omega/Rolex for decades with a stamped pressure fit clasp.

So fantastic that you ended up with your dad’s watch. It sounds like it has real meaning. Beautiful colorway, too.

Totally agree about the stamped clasp. Enthusiasts criticize new watches as “cheaping out” if they don’t have milled clasps, but I kinda feel like it’s overkill—thicker, heavier, and pointlessly expensive.

Uncle is my favorite after market bracelet, hands down!
