Amazing shot HW 😍 not only have you captured those blued hands beautifully, but you've also highlighted why manufacturers used in them in the first place, as they still look brand new comoared to the indices 👌

Blue hands are often hard to catch right. Something you have done really well in these photos. Next time I were my tsuyosa I will have to attempt to recreate the effect. Great photos.
Marvellous? May I ask what era is this beauty from?
WW2 there is some interesting info on this how it was made I believe for Germans and after the war as many as possible were destroyed I believe as the company essentially GP wanted to disassociate themselves from it…

That is very interesting! My guess is this could be made for the Kriegsmarije or Luftwaffe, since iirc the Wehrmacht’s version for Dienstuhrs seems to also come in black. But it’s ww2 logistics so there is no definitive answer. If you have a serial number on the case back then you can confirm it. D…H is Heer (army), and iirc I think D…K is navy. There is a list of combo for them on the internet
Great shots as always. I appreciate that you always take such artistic photos! And this watch. Woooo that is pretty. I've been so drawn to this classic look lately!
