Also, is anyone else here following The Acolyte? I'm admittedly not a huge fan of how Disney has handled Star Wars overall (Rogue One and Andor are glaring exceptions), but I try to give each episode a fair shot ๐๐ป I'm not a grumpy old man... yet.

What is that watch. Was that pic at Ogaโs?
I have I guess 7.
And while there is going to be a variety of quality in a universe as large as Star Wars, all of it is better than no Star Wars.

If only! ๐ That was The Acolyte trailer on my screen. The watch was from a 2005 Burger King promotion (digital display on one side and hologram on the other with reversible straps)

Awesome collection, and agreed!
Sadly, I have a number of star wars themed things, but not a watch.
Tonight's episode was fortunately fairly good. The Sith was reveal was obvious of course, but it was a solid episode.

Haha it actually was! I'll refrain from saying more for now in case others stumble on this thread who haven't seen it ๐๐ป
Yup I grew up on that so it's near and dear โค but haven't kept up with it after Rise of Skywalker. I've added some watches here and there...

Nice, interesting pieces! I've never seen that C-3PO model before. Or the dot matrix one, for that matter. Is it a game?
I refuse to watch it. Kathleen Kennedy has destroyed Star Warsโ legacy. To me, Star Wars is episodes 4, 5, 6.
I was in HS when A New Hope came out, I was blown away. I have no clue how many times I've seen it since. Disney's handling of Star Wars has pushed me away. They should take a clue from Game of Thrones, strong women and strong men not political.
Oh I don't own a Star Wars watch but I did get a 1000 piece millennium falcon Lego set for my birthday.

All true points! The force is with you!

Thanks! It's from a series called C-watch that had your typical timekeeping features but also had animations/sounds from different properties and they made one for Star Wars.
I used to love the green holograms youโd get on stuff in the 80s. Never seen this watch before but Iโm digging it!
The acolyte is entertaining - I prefer these darker series over the more family oriented Mandalorian. Andor was cool too.

Hear! Hear!
Just here to say Andor was amazing. Started off a little slow, but the prison episodes and the finale were incredible.

I can unfortunately relate to getting pushed away too. LEGO 75375?

Haha, not even the prequels? I've come to appreciate them over time

Nice! I like how at a glance it's not in-your-face Star Wars

Oh cool, I'll have to look those up!

This was from a 2005 Burger King promo. It was a set of character-themed watches with reversible straps, and came in tins. Battery died ages ago, hence wearing it on the hologram side which still works ๐ And I like my Star Wars dark too! Andor was phenomenal ๐ฅ

Agree 100%, and I actually didn't even mind the slowness that much because it was otherwise so well done ๐๐ป
Here is my actual 1977 Star Wars red LED watch made by Texas Instruments. I was given this for Christmas when I was 8 years old to compliment my 1975 manual wind Mickey Mouse watch and wore it for 2 years. I put it back in the package and tucked it into my desk when the batteries needed to be replaced. I recently pulled this watch out, removed the two button batteries and started looking for newer batteries that will substitute for the originals, (exact replacements are no longer made). The internals are perfect and I even have the entire sticker pack of substitute face plates that came with it when new. I owe a huge shout out to my mother for safeguarding items like this from my childhood so I could continue to enjoy them later in life!
If only the newer Star Wars films and shows were as good as what we got in the 70's and 80's...

Maybe episode 3, but only for Anakin versus Obi Wan, the whole start of โthe circleโ reference from episode 4
