Not really a huge fan of Blancpain...

(Translation I can't afford it) but these are stunning!

They are really pretty but I can’t help but feel they have a slightly confused identity. Why a dive watch with all those dressy complications? I was looking at them before. They appeal for sure - I really think the blue one is an amazing shade and has a beautiful sunburst.

Nice catch, and thanks for bringing these to our attention!

Great point! Now I realized that are divers lol I would love to see what it looks like in person even though I would never be able to get one.

Blancpain is a watch type I was fine with until I saw them in person and then I fell in love with them.

Oh wow

It is silly that a dive watch has a moonphase and pointer date.

But put aside convention for a moment. And go with your instinctive feelings. When I saw this post I was immediately drawn to these watches.

Does it really matter if a dive watch has multiple complications? JLC Polaris range has a perpetual calendar!

These are stunners. The design, dial lay out and proportions are wonderful. And the build quality is second to none in this price range despite being quite steep.

Thank you for sharing these unconventional but in my opinion stunning watches

·

Mechanical watches are silly. Why try to rationalize these high watchmaking divers more than other watches? They're gorgeous in person, especially the titanium with gray dial. 🤤

I don’t know what it is but I just don’t think I like modern watches with a smiley face moon. I think they look far better with an accurate representation instead! There’s a lot going on for an a divers watch! It’s like it’s not sure what it wants to be!

Cute rado watch

This is because when you emerge from the depths of the ocean you will know if you have enough moonlight and also to be able to determine how many weeks you have been submerged lol

·

Absolutely stunning (although well out of my price range, I suspect).

·

I like the blue one. I think a 'silver' steel case and bracelet would look stunning 💪😎

·

The blue and the black a truely stunning. I’ve now got another dream watch to add to the list 😂

I like the fact it has a timing bezel it’s the most useful complication a watch can have for me. So if. You don’t think a diver should have a moon phase you can think of it as a moonphase with added function of a timing bezel 😍

These are stunning, will definitely investigate very good chance might be a next and last purchase for a long long time. I don’t prefer a ceramic bracelet but it may not be worth the saving to opt out of the entire package for a different strap option. Watches with multiple complications especially the elegant moon was a key motivation for collecting timepieces seriously 50 years ago. Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose was a saying my high school French teacher was fond of saying. Moonphases have never gone out of style but happy to see the romantic but admittedly useless function in today’s world relevant again. This for me might be more affordable than the classic Moonphase launched by Laurent Ferrier and an older watch from Parmigiani.

Soooo beautiful 😍

·

These are awesome because they fix the super boring look of the Fifty Fathoms with a splash of style and color AND they still work as a dive watch.

·

Kind of looks like a fifty fathoms mated with a villeret 🤣

I love BP all the way, they putting out some outrageous time pieces. I recently went with the new FF in Titanium 23 42mm and it's a beast.
