Old watch? I need to wear my Seiko too

I’m a recent convert to white dials and this is a good example for why I like them. That looks so clean.

This is such a beautiful watch, Danilo. The clean dial, 70s handset and indices, even the text on the case back is superbly retro. The case has a sort of Turtle appeal to it and that name!! Come on 'Lord Elgin' is a fantastic moniker (I wonder if it runs in the same circles as @JHT_61 's Lord Elgin collection.

Very nice vintage Seiko Danilo!

Seiko were killing it back in the 60’s / 70’s. This is fine example of what they were capable of, lovely watch. I’ve got something on the way from that era which I’m very excited about. Will all be revealed next month

Thanks for the kind words John, much appreciated my friend. It has the Lake Suwa logo on the caseback as well. From what I understand they shut that facility down in 1970.

That watch is in amazing shape for being a half a century plus old. But I hear anything created in 1970 is pure class. The '70 Pontiac GTO, the '70 Ford Gran Torino, The Seiko Lord Matic, me, you, the list goes on and on. Looking sharp as always Danilo.
