On the zero field still standing but oh I am so tempted to break my promise. Imagine I purchased two watches and immediately cancelled the orders. Each order one week apart from the other. Hopefully this is just the hard few weeks breaking the addiction and then it will go smoothly but maybe I am wrong!

Thanks, Kostas, for the kind message. It’ll be a while yet before some sense of ‘normality’ returns for our family, but a little distraction is welcome.

I think I’m 17 weeks watch sober. Buying is addictive, and you’re most vulnerable right after a recent purchase, so you’re absolutely right—it does get easier once you get over those bumps.

The satisfaction of achieving the goal will ultimately mean so much more than buying a fleeting trinket of dopamine for your wrist.

I really hope it is nothing serious my friend! Family is the most important thing. Watches are just fun, especially when the hobby is not becoming an addiction. I will fight to get to the finish line and achieving the goal. I have promised that to myself. Take care and do not hesitate to reach out if you need some distraction 🙏
