Bronze bezel inserts

I have bronze watches that have bronze bezel inserts, and I have bronze watches with ceramic bezel inserts. To me, that bronze bezel insert really makes the watch. You can see the patina much better, particularly when it has raised numerals, though you will often miss out some extra lume. Which do you prefer?
