The lovely SBDC159 caught my eye at the „Fa-So-La TAX FREE AKIHABARA” store located at the duty free departure area of Narita Terminal 1 Airport.
Saw many many awesome pieces at BicCamera/Yodobashi, but didn’t want to deal with customs, so I held off my „urge to splurge” till the last day…worth it!

It really depends on the model you purchase, the brand and the movement inside: you should expect to send back a JDM (Japanese domestic market) models back to a service center/AD in Japan.
Mine is „Made in Japan” so I think it is falls under the JDM bucket. On the other hand, the 6R35 caliber isn’t anything exotic - watchmakers worth their salt (if „must be performed by an authorized/official service center” route is not a must) should be able to help you with potential repairs.
