Walked in IWC's AD for the first time
I wasn't intending to buy anything and was just looking around, was clear about that with the sale's assistants and they still sat me down, offered coffee and made me take a look at the Ingenieur and Portofino. It's a solid beautiful piece and I had a really fun chat with the SA who ended up following me on insta for my "old film" photography.
The aqua Ingenieur is such a difficult watch to photograph, no amount of editing can really show off how beautiful the dial really is. I did't buy anything but I think I left my heart in that shop, IWC's stuff is gorgeous.
A game developer by trade and if I didn't enjoy watches, I wouldn't be here. I am to blame for the really old-ass looking photos on the WRUW page. Particularly fond of Casio, Citizen and vintage Conco...
When an AD gives you the right attention like that it creates a strong positive connection with the brand. Good for them for treating you right, and hey the watch may be on your wrist one day.

That's what I'm hoping for, the watches were absolutely beautiful
Great watches and great service from IWC. I've been to several of their boutiques and they've consistently offered top notch service even if you're there just to have a look.
