The whole idea that a watch should take up a certain amount of space, like reaching across most of the wrist with the lugs, is preference. I think that looks fine. If you want a larger version though, go for it.
My CWC diver I'm wearing right now isn't much different. The case is larger, but the dial and lug to lug relative to wrist are pretty similar.
I like my watches to wear larger because it is what I choose but I wore 36mm watches for a period in the 80s, didn’t feel comfortable with the case size and strap relationship. I do not believe there is a size for a watch to be, different things make people happy. Met a young man just yesterday who owns a Patek Calatrava from his dad, some watches from other family but is infatuated with his Tudor BB41 black bezel watch, has not removed the watch since he purchased it a few years ago.

That huge body gives it a far stronger presence that this very lightly coloured Seiko. The fact that it's lighter in colour and more *office* looking does make it look a bit weird on my very hairy forearm, I feel like. But then again I wanted to see what other people think, as I might very well be imagining things

Fair enough. I think what creates presence is a little bit beyond me. I mostly just worry about if I like the look of the watch and if it's going to be too big for my liking. The bottom of the size range is pretty flexible to me.
@solidyetti That's insane to me. Not sure what the lug to lug is on the Lorier Falcon but it seems to cover your wrist pretty well. Compared to my picture where the watch itself barely covers the whole visible forearm width.

No not too small, it looks great on you!
This is the way a wrist watch should look.

Thank you! I'm a bit worried it's too small even though I just love the cream dial which the bigger model lacks.
Unsure if it's just the wrist size but I'm 1.95m/6'5" tall and the watch presence felt a bit too tiny on my wrist while looking in the mirror, lol
respectfully, i do think it's too small. you asked!
but then again, you do you, more power to you.
No. It is watch sized.

Nope.
6.5" and wear all the way down to 32.
36mm Lorier Falcon seems fine to me.

Looks smaller then my preference.
