There are some watch collectors who take a scholarly approach and have unworn watches in their collection. The idea is to have a high end watch be seen by watch lovers and historians and what the watch looked like brand new. Having said that, I lean toward wearing them whenever you feel the desire. No right or wrong answer. The hobby is yours and yours alone.

I'll play devil's advocate and say encase them in resin but in bubbles so you can retrieve them for that rainy day.

Depends on occasion and gifter. Likely permanent to collection and wear. Not putting it on the wrist is an insult to the intention, otherwise they’d have given cash. Plus, sentiment is the value… whether a Duro or a Daytona, you’re wearing a part of them

I would probably sell the GMT Master if it was on an oyster bracelet because I like the jubilee better, but since it's on a jubilee 100% keep. I love the panda too and those are pretty hard to come by so keep them both for sure

Sell and buy something more fairly priced that won't stop you from enjoying them. Invest the rest of the money. Watches in safes are a bad investment.
