I can’t read the time easily and precisely. Too busy for me. Looks like a toy watch and I can agree with using different materials but in this combination it looks cheap.
No because it's hideous and looks cheap.
Not a style of watch that appeals to me.
I became an enthusiast because I love the many amazing ways a proper watch looks, or even a bit goofy but not when they are U G L Y!

I would rather get an rm for that money
I own one skeleton watch to remind me that I don't like skeleton watches. (And I wanted to build one.)
A watch dial is like an artist's canvas. A skeleton dial looks like a shredded canvas to me.
If I had no money and no watches I still wouldn't take it as a freebie.
How is it a poor man's RM, they're almost priced the same.
I actually think it looks quite cool, but tonneau or rectangular cases don’t work for me and I generally don’t enjoy having skeletonised watches.
I enjoy coming across these though, and I’m glad people make different watch styles, even if they’re not for me. Thanks for sharing.
Regardless of homage or not, RM or not, I just am not a fan of that type of case
