it's a beautiful strap. but, respectfully, it's not a NATO - which are one-piece straps that thread through the lugs. You have a fabric 2-piece strap. really suits the watch too!
I wear all my watches to their intended abilities.
For example, I have a vintage gold Hamilton tank that I never wear at work because no WR and as a nurse I wash my hands a lot. But I wear my GS Shunbun on a NATO strap at work happily. It’s got a high WR. And God forbid some body fluid gets on my strap at $15 I can throw it in the trash.
When I get my Cartier Tank I won’t wear it to work. But I will happily wear it at home (when I am not gardening) and for date night.
There’s lots of YouTubes pointing out that watches are not investments. And the secondary market is crashing right now. Invest in index funds or something that appreciates.
I bought a 21mm tan croc from Veblenist and a dark gray suede from Holbein’s. Ironically I am wearing it on a gray NATO at the moment that I like the best so far. But, think I will try to get the OEM gray croc at some point.
