This is my first automatic watch with both date and day of the week. Every day between noon and 3pm the date would flip to the next week day and I could not figure out why.

Here is why: the watch is off by 12 hours. Simply advance the time by 12 hours.

Lovely Islander Anna. The color placement is perfect 👌🏽

How do you like it so far? I really like the look of the blue and black ones, with the pop of orange. I know that's pretty boring. 😂

For a smaller wrist, the Islander Greenport is on the bigger size at 39.5 mm / 13.5 mm thickness, but I think it's a perfect men's size. The watch is well build and feels very good on the wrist. The bracelet it comes with is very comfortable. I wanted the date and week day, similar to the vintage Zodiac Speed Dragons. I use the bezel to keep track of time in a second time zone. Overall, I do recommend it as a daily companion for all outdoor activities.

If day/date is flipping at noon, your time is off by 12 hours. Simply advance the time 12 hours, then reset the day/date as needed.

Thank you! I just advanced the time by 12 hrs. Should I care about not setting the date during the "death zone" time?

Thank you! I'm a big fan of day/date watches, but I love the retro vertical look of this one.
