Do you ever put your diver’s watch outdoor when it snowed and returned next morning to check if it was still working (even you knew they would)?

Do you ever put your diver’s watch (or field watch) outdoor when it snowed bad and then returned next morning to check if it was still working (even you knew they would)?

Please confess and disclose (1) the weather conditions, (2) which watch(es) you selected to go through this heroic test of yours and (3) show your best photo shot of your watch buried in the snow!!

Mine was done in London back in the days when it still snowed properly. I put my Seiko SKX007 and Suunto S6 out there. Obviously both survived 😂😂

I think I matter how old we are, we watch enthusiasts can’t get the boy out of us.

Nope. :)

I do this with my children.

·

I do the exact same thing but with sunshine.

·

So far none of them survived.

Pathetic.

·

When I read these posts it reminds me how weird we are 🤣💙

·

No. But I did set up my tripod and snapped this pic. I then quickly skipped back inside like a teenage girl 💅 for my warm, protecting blankie

Why would anyone want to do this? I’m so lost here.

·

Nope. Wintry conditions tend to be violin-infested.
