4 things that are constant to me (as a dad and as a watch enthusiast)..

One: constantly checking out new watch releases and reviews despite the fact that I just bought a new daxn watch.

Two: got ever-growing and hungry kids, my house fridge is always empty despite I just spent £100 at ASDA and M&S and filled up the fridge a moment ago.

Three: laundry basket is somehow always full, no matter how many loads I have washed, it just keeps piling up (god I so wish the laundery basket automatically fills with monies, not dirty socks).

Four: wife always thinks I should do more around the household. Every time as I just sit down on the sofa and turn on the TV (*within minutes*), she will find me. And there are more instructions to complete.

5 digit holes case submariner: perfection. 5 digit neo-vintage subs > modern ceramic subs

I think you should get yourself a shed where you mustn't be disturbed and go and do your "work" in - ie catching up on WC!

·

Fortunately not got children, but my Mrs is rather good at finding me pointless jobs and spending.. bless her 🙄🤣

My wife is pretty cool about my watch hobby but seems to always instruct me to do something when I am already doing something. I never want to celebrate my birthdays usually involves me cooking for my loving but undeserving daughters and one G-Shock collecting son in law. I do love my new granddaughter and Marvie a 8 year old Cockapoo is my pal, he was my first follower after joining WC last June. Tempus fugit, hard to believe it has been a year since I joined the Crunch. The Fstes will determine how long I might stay but it has been fun.

That’s a lovely watch, classic, can’t go wrong

They’re only constants until they’re not. Then you’ll miss them.

But I can soundly relate 🤓

Haha. Just £100? I wish I could get away that cheaply.

About point 4:

The world is always there, regardless of it's in the house or at the office. At the office, you can quit for the day. At the house, you quit when it's sleeping time.

Or set the limits!
