There was a time when I wanted to sell them. 48 mm was just too much for me. I began to prefer smaller diameters. But I still like them for their great clarity and quality workmanship. Today I gave them another chance. 😉

Why did you ever consider selling or setting this watch aside? Seem to recall this was quite an in demand watch a few years ago, none of us live in fashion vacuums but I wear all of my older 44-48mm watches, in fact my next few watches are probably going to be 44 or/and 46mm depending on my extra dollars. I make no comments about a fella who wants to wear a 32 or 34 mm timepiece, cannot understand the antipathy towards guys who either prefer bigger watches or have 8 inch wrists.
It is a Flieger which historically have been big for pilots to see - at least, that’s how I’d justify it 😎

Agree with you. Also Big crown for easy work with gloves.

I had such a period, every morning I let them lie in the box and preferred the smaller ones. I regretted not wearing them. But you all are right, they are beautiful and I will keep them.👍 Thank you for your comment.
