Tudor North Flag

I think it's a shame that North Flag didn't get a successor from Tudor. What do you think? What do you think of this watch? Was the problem inability to change the strap due to non standard lugs or sth else..? I like it very much.

·

It's a cool watch. Maybe tighten up the hour hand a bit and change the yellow accents to orange. I do wish they still made it.

·

I was looking for a plain steel watch, my sales agent brought a first gen. Ranger, the North Flag for me to examine, bought the NF without hesitation, eventually sourced the PO1 and the relaunched Ranger. There is a niche demand for the NF according to my regular multi brand ad but only sold off their last new NF a short time ago. Interest amongst enthusiasts is nothing if the reviews on social media are not also favourable. I might add the P01 has become one of my favourite beater watches, might be one of very few Tudors that I intend to keep, my North Flag has already been claimed by my older daughter.

·

The only Tudor I like. And one of only two watches with power reserves on the dial that I like.

·

Sure, it is a little stout, and the integrated bracelet is a minus rather than a plus, but this is the last great watch Tudor produced. Like @Porthole says above Tudor has shifted to producing the same watch over and over with less color.

·

I don’t think the world was quite ready for it. I feel like if Tudor released it now it would probably have been more successful.

·

The North Flag got me excited about Tudor - so naturally I bought a BB58. NF was a little too big for my taste but still appreciate the design style.

·

I too like rhis watch and wish they would make more.

Agreed. Orange would be sweet. 👍

·

I was sad they discontinued it as I found it fresh and different not just another heritage copy. Really hope I can pick one up in the future!

·

I love mine. Best Tudor in my opinion and the only one that doesn't try to look like Rolex.

·

No more the fact it’s ugly 😂

·

It’s a cool piece. But I think the design has rightly been replaced by Tudor Ranger.

·

Ahead of the trend, and sadly of its time. The most innovative tudor in the past 30 years, and if they kept it on catalog and just improved it instead of killing it, would be a smash

·

They discontinued it before integrated bracelets became fashionable. They'll surely revive him at any moment to secure a slice of that pie.

·

Probably because I’ve only seen nerds wearing it 🤣

That would be most of the present company, thankfully.

Most 🤙🏼

·

Wish it was a little smaller (40mm here = 50mm L2L) and a few mm thinner, but otherwise a lot to like design-wise.

Me too i love the North Flag but in my wish list was very far than the Pelagos

The day I got mine I was set on getting a Pelagos and discovered it was being discontinued so I jumped at it also got a good discount

·

I'm a big fan and it's a frequent member of my top ten list although obviously increasingly hard to come by.

I now have three Tudors. First came the Pelagos 42 black dial, then the PO1 and recently the Pelagos MN FXD so I'm probably not a typical Tudor customer as I haven't got a black bay yet!

·

And thinking that the PR01 is still in the catalog... 🙄

·

I really wish they would bring this back. Maybe in titanium. Just to give it something extra.

I was going for the Pelagos Blue 42mm but there wasn't one and the owner of the jewelry store, AD from Tudor, was wearing the black one and "he told me I would take the black one" it is more combinable day to day, I tried the black one and it was love to first sight

It's among my "top three watches that got discontinued before I even became aware of them". The other two are the Omega CK859 and the Seiko Ginza Alpinist.

·

Perhaps with a name spruce-up- perhaps they thought people were confusing it with Timex anc the Expedition North line.

·

It is growing in me. Every year I like it a bit more 😊

·

It's a super cool looking watch. I like it. Are there green, blue, red and orange versions as well? 🤩

·

This would be the first Tudor I would have considered. It's a shame it didn't take off

·

oh how I'd love it at 36-38mm size!

·

Thank you all for your comment.

I appreciate it.

TUDOR please start making NF again.😉👍
