NWA! Don’t Panic
Obtained this beauty for Father’s Day during Mr Jones Watches’ recent summer sale ($175!!!)
I’ll let the photos do the talking but some quick first impressions:
It’s an inexpensive and silly quartz watch and to me it’s perfect.
Telling the time (to within about 5 minutes) isn’t too bad after a bit of practice.
The printing quality on this watch is VERY sharp - much better than dial printing I’ve seen from the big boys. I suspect printing on the smooth transparent plastic plates allows the print to transfer better.
Pairs perfectly with the Erika’s Originals Trident MN strap with turquoise stripe (shown). I had them engrave my photography business’ logo on the clasp (a camera in the shape of Washington State) for 20 euro.
On a scale of 1-5 I give this a 42.

Love it! I wasn’t a big fan of the lugs and the space they left from the case to the strap but you fixed that beautifully with Erica’s band (big fan of hers ☺️) 👍👍👍

BelenJ/Reedy1 yep exactly. The 2-piece strap I got with the watch wasn’t bad but I had already ordered the MN strap to resolve the lug concern. I did have a stray arm hair or two popping up between the 2-piece strap and the case so a pass-through strap is definitely the way to go with these.
I was very tempted by this in the sale also! I have one watch from Mr Jones and could see myself getting another!

Hi! It’s from a brand called Erika’s Originals and the style is MN. This particular one is the Trident strap w/ turquoise stripe. It’s like a nato except it has a hook style clasp and is made of an elastic material so you don’t have that bulky tuck at 12:00. I love them.
FYI there are other MN manufacturers but the colors are generally more military influenced - lots of olives, greens, and khaki.

The dial is very cool. They hand airbrush the outside edge of the dial with a pink/peach so that the combined color with the blue plastic minute disc goes to black at the sides to create a fume effect (except in the beam cutout). The brand does a lot of very clever stuff.

Thank you! I made it for my landscape photography business. I thought adding the logo to the strap would give it a nice personal touch and it was just 20 euro extra so I went for it. Glad I did.
