Seiko Turtle

I bought this watch in Okinawa Japan when I was still in the Marine Corps, I only ever wore it a few times for some reason i went 3 years with out wearing it and I just recently started wearing it everyday for the past few months its just such a cool watch, the case is comfortable and looks amazing the thickness disappears on the wrist it is about 13.4mm thick and you cant hardly tell.

The turtle grew on me too. When I first bought it a couple years ago I thought it was nice but a bit too big. I put it away, and then randomly pulled it out about a year later and fell in love with it. No it sees regular time in my rotation.

Its weird i never thought i would like it but after the time away and going through my rotation it jist hit me all of a sudden and it got me into that style case, its just a fun watch and makes you feel like its 1970

I’m wearing the same watch! I’m surprised yours isn’t JDM, considering where you bought it.

I know, i was disappointed when i found out it wasnt, i bought it when i was first getting into watches and the history and all that stuff and didnt really think to look. Whats cool tho is guys would buy these same ones (same model) from the px and go off to veitnam so its cool getting to share a small part of that military history buying a seiko turtle from the px
