Suggestion for a beater watch

Just before my summer vacation I bought a "beater" watch. It didn't click with me however so it's on someone else's wrist now. So the Timex Navi XL is not an option.

I'm asking the community here for suggestions. And true to my own comments on other people's post I'll give you some starter details. Let's have some Sunday-fun.

Style:

Not really important. I like divers and field watches, but not limited to just those.

Movement:

I just love a sweeping seconds hand. So automatic/mechanical or fast beat quartz. Doesn't matter.

Colours:

Black dial. I tend to lean toward 3-6-9, arabic numerals. A splash of orange or red perhaps.

Case/bracelet:

Steel or titanium. Must not have a bracelet. Anything goes. 39-41 mm, 45-48 lug-to-lug. Rather slim.

Bonus if lug width is 20 mm.

Crystal:

Sapphire preferably but not required

Budget:

$150 tops.

This is the kind of watch I would wear when doing home renovations, working in the garden- that kind of stuff. Something I don't have to worry about getting a few dings and scratches.

UPDATE: New watch ordered, bases on your input.

A Gshock or Casio wave would be good but the wave is digital. I would say if you add another $150 you can get the Seiko field GMt from Teddy for $325-350 and it would be a great beater watch. I own one and gets a good amount of wrist time.

A bit on the pricier side for me. Perhaps pre-owned. Ticking all boxes otherwise.

Another good one is the Casio Duro diver. It’s more on the larger side but can get on Amazon for $40-60

Hey Peter! I don't see any homage watches in your wrist check collection. For that price, you should check out AliExpress Chinese special watches brother.

This Steeldive watch with the 369 design is currently on sale for the Black Friday event.

I got this Corgeut Explorer II Polar homage with the Seiko NH34 GMT movement for $79 CAD.

Bump it up to $220 and you get can a nice Baltany Explorer homage.

Check out the rest of their watches, they have a lot of nice Dirty Dozen watches around $150 too.

The SD1970 wears great and compact. That Seiko Willard cushion case design is far from large - It's like magic ✨ Here it is on my 7" wrist. This maybe 6.75" I think I was cutting weight at this time 💪🏽

I like Pagani Design homages for this. Many options at under $150, though you would need to ditch the bracelet for a strap. U

You could get a Barton canvas and you’d still be under budget.
