Hello! I’m a carpenter/ builder by trade. I love the artistry of forming a piece of wood into something functional & beautiful. The artistry of woodworking & the level of skill it takes to create something that has function, purpose, strength, & beauty, is a large part of why I’m a certifiable watch addict. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always admired a nice watch. There was a specific moment in my life that my admiration of a watch(es) turned into Obsession. It was the early 2000’s when I went to a jewelry store in Philadelphia to buy an engagement ring. As I was looking at the rings, (which turned out to be an epic Fail), something kept catching my eye. There was a small glass case in the very back of the store & it had 10-15 watches in it. All of them were preowned. 1 watch in particular stood out in such a way, that I felt mesmerized by it. The watch was a Breitling Navitimer. I spent 2hrs at this jewelry store & all but 15min was spent obsessing over this watch. I’m pretty sure I drooled on the counter .. just a lil bit lol. Ever since, I’ve been hooked! 🤙🏼😁
