Time to Share the Rolex Datejust
Let me introduce you to what YouTubers call an entry level Rolex. It’s not entry level when you’re spending $8k+ retail for it. It’s also not an entry level Rolex. It’s the Rolex nobody can really flip, you jackass YouTubers.
Rolex Datejust 41mm Slate. This watch grew on me because of one conundrum. It looks horrible on display. But once you own and wear it, it really separates itself from every other Datejust jubilee bracelet/fluted bezel DJs that are more common.
It’s not a new pickup. I’ve had it for over a year now. And it’s pretty solid💯

I love how the smooth bezel and oyster bracelet change the look so much on the datejust. Much more versatile and modern. My lifestyle is quite casual, so I really like this look.

Good choice getting the smooth bezel. I know the Cyclops is iconic but I wish they put it under the crystal or just made it optional.

Love the dial colour. I went fluted/jubilee in the classic 36 myself. It’s cool to see so many variations of this watch on here!
I've got the same DJ with a white dial and it's incredible, the smooth/oyster combo with stick indices is modern and sporty in a way the traditional DJ could never be
I think it’s one of their classic best looking pieces next to the Original black and stainless submariner.
Im with you 100%. I used to watch a ton of watch content on YouTube but I very rarely do anymore, in fact I can't even remember the last time I watched one. The reason being I got sick and tired of listening to the same old shite, paid reviews, I'll give you my honest opinion bollocks and then some of them becoming political and falling out with one another and trying to force their opinions. I just find it very monotonous. Rant over. Beautiful datejust by the way 🍻
