Spirit of ST Louis with GMT
Going through San Diego Lindbergh Field today and there is a replica of Lindbergh’s aircraft the Spirit of St Louis. So naturally, wearing my Christopher Ward Trident GMT, I had to get a picture. Actually one of as much of the plane as I could, and one of the information plaque, and one with my watch in the foreground with the plane.
Imagine flying across the Atlantic in that! That was some major accomplishment. A GMT may have come in handy then. 😂😂

Love the Spirit of St. Louis, one of my favorite airplanes! Was in awe seeing this plane as a kid at the Smithsonian. I know it's not the watch Lindbergh wore on his famous voyage but one day I hope to add a Longines Hour Angle watch to the collection!
