What Discontinued watch would you like to see Comeback??

I thought about this today as I was sat looking Tudor North Flags on Chrono 24. But what discontinued watches would you love to see make a comeback?

The Breitling Aerospace is now discontinued, the Rolex Milgaus is now deceased for now and of course the North Flag.

Being such a rich crunch community I’m sure there is many watches I haven’t even thought of.

What would you like to see?

·

Those North Flags are great

·

Breitling changed the blue on their SOH when the moved to the SOH II which is now just called the SOH again. I’m finding it hard to find that original SOH with the original blue.

I’d like to see Omega re-release a small thin 39mm Speedy Reduced again, not like the chubby 38mm version it currently has.

·

The North Flag naturally! Seiko SARB for sure . Omega Railmaster( latest version which I believe has been discontinued?)

·

CK859. Great watch. Such a short production run.

·

The Breitling aerospace please 🔥

·

Seiko Ripley.

·

SKX under $300.

Breitling aerospace is a good one!

CK859. Great watch. Such a short production run.

Gorgeous watch!

·

I am with you on the Tudor North Flag bandwagon

·

Milgaus.

·

North flag

·

North Flag and Aerospace. Both slightly smaller

·

North Flag is a good one but bringing it back may take away from some of the appeal. I'll add this one.

The milgaus with some beefed up specs. Omega Planet Ocean is resistant to 15,000 gaus. It would be interesting to see what Rolex could do to compete. I’d also like to see another affordable SKX with the same specs since I missed out on ever purchasing one back in the day.

Milgauss is the name, not the spec. It passed tests at much higher field strength. Forster wrote sn article a while back

North flag and Milgauss

·

Midsize seamaster slotted in to the current line up

·

Glycine Lagunare as a left field choice for a comeback

Also the Tissot Seastar Navigator

Also the Heuer Montreal

Definitively the North Flag.

The SKX had its moment, and it was brilliant, but there are so many options today that I think a modern SKX would get lost. Clearance Glycines, Orients, Heritors, Aragon, Spinnaker, Casio, Scurfa, Zelos, Nodus, Tissot, Lorier, Momentum, Erebus, Islander....and so much more. The SKX's time has passed, but it was such an important moment. I liked mine a lot, but I don't miss it. I don't miss the Seiko shuffle.

I had three over the years and none ever gave me trouble but I agree that it's time has passed. Even within the current Seiko catalog, I think there are better picks than the SKX for a gateway watch or even a one-and-done watch for normal people.

What I do wish Seiko would re-issue is a 7548-ish quartz diver with a thinner case, a 7C movement, and a sapphire crystal. That's probably never going to happen so I will happily stick with my SNE591 for a grab and go watch.

Pogue

·

Piaget Protocole. I have several from the 70s/80s. They are neat little dress watches.

Original Oris Divers 65 or this:

Do a poll👍

Milgauss and SKX

·

Seiko orange Monster, SARB033/034, Cocktail Time all with a 6R movement and sapphire for under $350 😔. Or the 1st and 2nd generation Bond Seamasters before they made them brick sized. The 36mm date just with acrylic crystal is also missed as well as the 1st generation GMT Master. Or the original Longines Flagship from the 1950s, it had more proportionate hands than the current iteration.

Aerospace evo....

·

I love the Breitling. I mean there are so many reasons for why I want to hate this watch but I absolutely love it. It’s awesome

·

Heuer Cortina and Daniel Roth C187.
