🚨New strap alert 🚨
Broke down and got the OEM rubber strap for the Seamaster Diver 300M.
Real nice strap, but mildly annoying that Omega can’t be bothered to ship the pin and buckle already installed. I’ve visited Switzerland a time or two and don’t recall ever seeing any rubber plantations, so suspect the rubber and the pin/buckle are produced in different locations/countries.

I'm quickly coming to the same conclusion!
The strap is well made, much better than any aftermarket strap. I was able to find one on eBay for much less than what Omega was asking for.
Which AD did you get the strap from? Omega on-line is out oof stock and I am looking for the same one.

I ordered from Finks Jewelers online customer care (e-commerce) department. Finks is regional mid Atlantic chain/my local Rolex/Tudor/GS AD. I reached out to them last month about the strap but was told the same thing…Omega’s online ordering system was down. Contacted them again late last week and was able to order.
I finally submitted last year and went for the Omega strap on the deployant clasp,best move ever ,wear the watch more and have no desire to swap out the strap (most unlike me). Loved the Swiss rubber plantation comment 😂
Hi sorry for your problem but if I´m right rubber strap for OMEGA should be 100% swiss made by company RUBBER B. From material HNBR ( Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber ) which is on the top of an imaginary quality pyramid. No no need to be worry. 😉They normaly send it not instaled because you can have more closing optionals.
Btw you can also check company : biwi.ch which is another great swiss producer.

It wasn’t a problem, it was a joke. I was aware the hardware wasn’t installed when I purchased it. And god only knows where it was produced. “Swiss Made” is a very loose definition!
