Canceled my Bel Canto order today

The red is nicer by far. Not that the blue is not nice, it’s just that the red is nicer. What a dial shade!

I’ve been debating on the blue one also and now that the red is available, I’m so close to committing. But reality sets in and I rather save this fund for a GS since I’m a Seiko nut. 😁If this showed more of the inner workings like the twelve x and at this price, it would be a no brainer haha 🤣

That’s a legit reason to take a pass for the time being. I kept my powder dry on the Bel Canto while rounding out my Grand Seiko collection, picking up a SBGW231 earlier this year. Once that was accomplished it opened the door to other watches. After several month of considering where to go next, I decided on the Bel Canto, ordering the blue in early June.

While the window of opportunity closes on the red on 3 July, the regular range Bel Cantos aren’t going anywhere. I would have been happy with the blue I’m sure…but that red is gorgeous. In addition to red being my alma mater’s color, I don’t have a red dial watch, so it will serve to stretch my collection’s color range.

What GS you aiming for? And pics when you get it!

Is that a delugs strap? If not then what is it. Been looking for a white strap for mine. Yours looks amazing on a white strap which convinces me now that I reallly need a white strap!

As for OP…can’t go wrong with red! Remember too, you still have your sense of touch! Hopefully that will be enough…unless you’re like me with nerve damage in your right arm😅

I picked it up from San Martin, I bought a few including some 20mm. I wanted to try it with a view of getting a high quality one if I thought it was good however the quality is not bad. I’m going to wear my Marloe on the 20mm for a bit to make sure.

Black hands aren’t needed because The Red One has new, patented proximity technology where if you hold it closer to your face you can see it better 😂
