The Tudor Pepsi with a suit (a perfect GADA watch)?

Just had a one day business trip last week, and I didn’t take an extra watch, like I often do when i travel overseas. Travelling with my Tudor Pepsi, as my favorite flight watch - perfect for its role in my opinion, I wore it with a suit for my meetings the next day. It wasn’t a formal attire (with no tie) and I felt it wasn’t too bad.

What do you think?

I wonder if you roll like with your Pepsi @drcarter13 😎😉

Nice one that is a great looking watch, but is it a GADA? I don't think so, if I was to wear it to work in construction it would probably be wrecked within the week.

Brilliant watch though 👍

·

Not a GADA in the classic form. It might be a solid built watch but would you risk scratches on it?

Don’t think so, it’s actually feels like a tank 💪🏻

Any not the Cartier kind 🤣

Wel as much as I would wearing any other watch I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️

·

It's totally fine.

looks great with a suit to me

Todo depende de lo que hagas al día si con el traje haces paredes o concreto... Más vale un g shock, ahora si es más faci las tareas diarias si sería gada. Buen viaje

The Pepsi is never out of place regardless of what you're doing.

That looks great. I think it goes well with a grey or blue suit, not black though. I think the BB GMT is a great versatile watch, and even more so with the new 58 GMT.

I think a GADA depends on the wearer, for you it’s perfect, as with me, but for some who have commented, they appear to bang their wrist on the regular and wouldn’t want to wear such a watch. I suppose even the Explorer 1, which the majority of WC’s have dubbed the GADAest of GADA wouldn’t suit some.

It looks way better than I thought it would so kudos for broadening my horizons...

Wow. It wasn't even 24h until the next "perfect GADA watch" post popped up. I was guessing at least a day of quiet and calm, but no...

The Tudor is nice, absolutely. Not every watch is a "GADA", though (and please, can we get rid of that beaten to death term? Nothing is good for "going anywhere, doing anything". First of all, there will always be someone who's of a different taste or opinion and second, if there was a "GADA" then there would be no other watches. The second point proves the first one).

Thanks for reading. Now please... no more "perfect GADA" posts for at least 24h 🙏🏻

Funny! I didn’t even know these kind of posts we’re a thing! 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’ll look for that 🤓

Was just thinking to myself.

For me, a GADA watch is one I wear with Jean or Shen I hang out, wear to work with a business casual or business attire, and still be able to jump into a pool with it if go to the beach

Or on a hike

All good mate, nothing against you, obviously. The topic of „GADA“ is so beaten to death it’s almost comical.

I wear my watches to everything and whenever my mood tells me to wear watch A over watch B. Meaning, when I post a WRUW picture I could call it GADA every time because on that day I „go anywhere and do anything“ with whatever watch I’m wearing. I know what it means, I just find the „concept“ a bit… umm… dumb, that I shudder evey time I read the four capitalized letters in that combination. 🤷🏻‍♂️🙅🏻‍♂️
