This F91w just put my Apple Watch on notice!!

Here is the deal.

Love the Apple Watch

Got me into the game

Got me use to wearing a watch

Started collecting.

Love to double wrist it

Respect anyone who wears one

But…

I’m not going to get a new one WHEN this one dies or becomes obsolete.

Why?

Honestly.. tired of charging it

Even with the best conservative settings it’s at least every 2 days.

The features that use to excite me don’t anymore.

I’m not training to run a marathon. I don’t care how long I slept or it’s quality.

When I wake up I can tell you that.

Bottom line is I’m not seeing the point to invest anymore

Now I just received this June 1989 released rock star of a watch and it will take the Apple Watches place full time when it kicks the can, and I will double wrist this when I’m feeling saucy 🤓

And yes,

Of course I’m going to modify it!

Happy almost Friday guys.

You've had an epiphany 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Since I got into watch collecting, the only time I wear an Apple Watch is during workouts. My plan is to swap my Apple Watch with Fitbit or something simpler going forward.

P.S. F91W is a classic beauty!

Perfect decision 👌🏻

I have an Iwatch and don’t miss it. There are times now that I will double wrist though. If I have a long meeting that way I can keep up to date on status of projects I’m working on with out looking at my phone.

I hear you mate !

I'm sticking it to the man with the bigger version made by Skmei. 😎

Only wear my Apple Watch as a fitness tracker now. Turns out, it’s more like an external monitor for your iPhone than a standalone device. I didn’t really like being even more tethered to my phone. Now I’m free!

Never got into smartwatches but I understand the attraction for tech minded people.

More importantly, I like the watch stand you have there. Details please?

Agreed smart watches are all well and good but there's just no beating a classic real watch

…and if you’re going to use anything more than the time-telling feature, you’ll need to charge it every 18 hours.

One time I remained hidden/stuck in a UN camp for several days while half the city was busy trying to, you know… kill the other half. Long story short, all my mates who had smartwatches, regardless of the brand and model were sporting a dead black thing on their wrists after 2 days. That just sealed the deal for me. Automatic or Eco-Drive, nothing else.

Bought mine so I can leave my phone behind, but I never leave my phone behind!

Bam!!!
