I’m a huge Casio fanboy but this is some serious competition. So much watch for the money!

Really fancy one of these. Does the weaker light bother you as much as the YouTubers say?

Not at all... the F91 has just as weak of a light, and many older watches have even worse... it's not a feature I really consider when I wear the watch to be honest... I love a good backlight, especially Indiglo and EL! But a watch that has neither can still be a lot of fun... just not one I'd wear at night and want to use in that way.

That makes sense. Have you played with their Amitron LED watches? Look fun but wonder if it is too much of a novelty.

I have the gold griffy with the Red LED! I adore it, it's great for a casual night out- a novelty for sure, but a fun and very amusing one for people who notice, and they always do! I also find the steel bracelet it comes with extremely comfortable. It walks a weird line between techy, retro, fun, and a little bit of old-school class.

Funny story, it's a really neat way to "check the time" when you're somewhere you're ready to leave. I was at a business meeting with a client a few months ago, a very chatty client and the conversation had long left our reasons for meeting... I happened to be wearing the Griffy, and when I lit that baby up, he noticed, said how cool it was... and after a 2 minute conversation about the watch and his Dad once having an LED he loved as a kid, he asked where he could find one. I told him, and after thanking me, he said thank you, encouraged I got going since he had actually seen how late it had become, and excused himself back to his office with a handshake.

There's one in there for sure, but I'll have more I'm sure! Found ( at least on the mobile app) that I have to actually click on the oldest Pic I can see on a page, and when I back out I can see the rest going back even further.
