Timex Humvee 1998 Shock Watch

I think Michael Keaton's Batman would DEFINITELY have worn this watch. I love the splashes of caution yellow across the screen and black rubberized bezel and black scuffed (battle damaged) steel hardware on the corners. It has a genuine mineral glass display over an awesome high variance Day-Glow LCD (that goes from gray to amber to neon green depending on the light) and some pretty complex and heavy duty shock resistance. It's rated for 200m of water with mud resistant pushers.

Slides 2-5 are actually advertisements of some kind for the Humvee watch that really shows the crowd they were going after, but it is DEFINITELY tough enough for anything... even Batman.

It was an awesome and rugged attempt to compete with Casio's G-Shocks and a reference I REALLY wish they would bring back.

Humvee = Cannot move or park in most urban environments. May run over civilians without noticing them.

Batman 89 = could not move his neck, or for that matter his entire torso, without moving at the waist instead. Absolutely cannot see anyone not directly in front of him.

It checks out.

True enough! But 89 Batman, Humvees, and this watch all do share one other thing in common... they're awesome despite the flaws!
