The G-Shock 5900 series is one of my faves, the more retro the colorway the better. This one is the re-issue and it lacks some of the fun bells and whistles of the originals from the early 90s, but it does have an EL backlight and a proper world time feature! Love wearing this one because it feels so deliberately nostalgic and says to hell with modern trends and fashion... it screams "let's just go back to what made us special I'm the first place" It's just a massive bonus that John Goodman wore it in the Big Lebowski. To me it is quintessential Casio, quintessential G-Shock, and quintessential 90s charm.
Some people really hate it, many completely forgot about it or overlook it, but I just adore it.
