They're really practical. One of my first cell phones used that reflective display too. Kind of remind me of all the hologram products they cranked out in the 80s. But I think on some watches like the gold Timex T80 makes them look a little garish, maybe because it looks like a cheap gimmick was added to an otherwise elegant looking digital. On resin digitals they look good though.
Damn I think this post has inspired my watch choice for today.
