Downsizing - Part 1

As I become more focused on my collecting journey, it has become apparent that I need to let a few pieces go to a new home. Some of these watches in this post (and the next two) I purchased intending to wear more, but most were impulse buys. While reviewing my attention lately I've noticed that these just don't get enough wrist time, so I'm hoping someone else will enjoy them more than I have been.

What I've got:

  • Caravelle by Bulova - I originally loved how simple this dial is, and the numerals are great. I just don't ever find myself wearing dressier watches, and when I do I generally choose the Movado that my wife got me for our wedding. So there's unfortunately no place for this piece anymore in my collection. It will need a battery. Asking $25

  • Casio - I bought this on impulse during one of my Walmart trips. I had just purchased my first Casio for a side bartending job that I took, and then purchased two more within a short period after. I don't need three Casios though, and I've only worn this one once (aside from a few times just to take a photo). It sounds ridiculous, but I actually don't wear this one much for fear of scratching it LOL. I love the look of it, but it is super redundant in my collection and I always wear one of the other two Casios, so I don't have a reason to keep it. Considering it was $32 new in December and I've worn it once, I'd like to get $20 for it.

  • Timex Marlin - I have two Timex Marlins from my grandfather, and I originally purchased this off of eBay to have spare parts. But it became apparent pretty quickly that this Timex is original and in much better shape than my other two, so how do I cannibalize it for parts? It works great and has some great patina on the dial, just wind it and go! Asking $30 for this one.

I'm located in northern NJ and am happy to meet up with anyone interested in these pieces. I can also ship at your expense.

I won't be buying for a while. I'm thinking the next piece will be a birth era Tudor Sub though
