NWA 40th Birthday Gift
Was my 40th last weekend, & couldn’t get to my AD then, but did manage too this week. Deposit was placed a few weeks back as they only had one left in the UK.
Since buying my partner the Silver dial Glamour date a few years back, I’ve always admired a silver dial.
Being fussy = not a fan of dates, smaller size than my norm (36mm - 38mm), lume needed (toddlers who don’t sleep), bracelet, 100m WR min (bath & pool duties).
Tudor (also being 1 of my favourite brands), seemed to tick all the boxes. Although dial is ‘light champagne’ as you can see in some pictures, it has a nice change of hue.
Only negative currently is I wish the bracelet tapered more think it’s 19mm to 17mm. But currently happy with a more smarter watch than I’m used to.
Also a bonus got 6% of RRP due to either my good spend history or my birthday.

Oh, you know what? Your new watch has just made me see that type of dial in a wonderfully fresh way. It’s very beautiful. You can let the eye roll around on that gold* like a platinum bearing! I love the polished bezel and the crown has a nice presence in relation to the lines of the case - inextricably bound by the dial. It must be a real pleasure to stare at! I’m enthused. Thanks!

Such a shame they don’t have this in the catalogue any longer. The dive style markers without a big clunky dive bezel make for a great combination.

They do, it’s 1 off 3 new colourwaya releases 2yrs back. Just my AD has only 1 🇬🇧 stock left. Otherwise 10-12wk wait from 🇨🇭 which maybe wouldn’t have been a bad thing - factory fresh like my BB58 & the Glamour.

OK thanks for that, I asked about it in a boutique in Melbourne about 4/5 months back & they said it wasn’t available any more. I ended up buying something else from Time & Tide.

Odd it’s still on Tudors site, but all major ADs in 🇬🇧 (under the WoS banner) don’t have it advertised anymore, only with 💎 on the bezel.
The older silver dial (ETA BB36s) we’re definitely discontinued.

Found them on the Tudor Australia site hiding at the end of the black bays, but they didn’t appear on my local Ad’s page. Cheers
